It is necessary to plan a buffer space to absorb the fast pressure variations, especially the solenoid valves situated after a B type regulator. The piping volume, from the regulator to the consumption point, has to be at least equal:
- in BP (21, 27, 37 mbar) to the 1/500 of the regulator nominal flow
- in MPA (300 mbar) to the 1/1000 of the regulator nominal flow
